AEI 353 Senior Study in ASL-English Interpreting
In this course, students will develop an online portfolio containing samples of interpreting work that showcase their interpreting skill set. Additionally, students will develop a philosophical statement on interpreting and an ASL Biography that describes the student's journey in relation to American Sign Language and Deaf culture. Finally, students will develop a professional resume for entry level interpreting positions. These online portfolios can be updated and used to apply for entry level interpreting positions after graduation. (3 credit hours)
