The Major in Criminal Justice prepares students to work in a wide variety of careers, both public and private, at varying levels of responsibility.
Students successfully completing the program of study will have achieved the following learning outcomes:
- Demonstrate an understanding of the operations of various components of the criminal justice system and how they relate to each other.
- Recognize historical and current approaches to law enforcement, courts, and corrections.
- Develop critical thinking skills, acquire knowledge in theoretical perspectives and methodological techniques, and gain from experiential learning opportunities.
