AEI 403 Performance and Conference Interpreting
In this course students will be presented with authentic interpreting scenarios related to theatrical plays, musical concerts, and conference speeches. Students will work to develop strategies for the creation of dynamically equivalent interpretations. Students will utilize self- and peer evaluations based on the criteria for effective interpretation to determine fidelity to the source message. This course is offered in fall semester of odd numbered years. (3 credit hours)
