AEI 301 Introduction to Interpreting

An introduction to some of the major areas of the interpreting profession, self-care, basic philosophical frameworks, service models, cross-cultural mediation, the code of ethics, and interpreting techniques. A knowledge-based rather than an interpreting skills-based course. (3 credit hours)
