SOC 327 Sociology of Culture

An examination of the concept of culture from a sociological perspective. Introduces different cultural explanations for social behavior, meaning-making, and social structure; examines the production, consumption, and reception of culture; and outlines cultural perspectives on diverse aspects of social life. (3 credit hours)
