HON 120H Honors Seminar: Self-Discovery and Leadership

This foundational interdisciplinary seminar introduces first-year Honors students to the Myrtle Coker Wilkinson Honors Program while cultivating essential skills in self-awareness, community building, ethical leadership, and career development. Students will examine the strengths, challenges, and core values that shape their leadership and professional identity. Guided reflections and collaborative problem-solving activities will demonstrate ways to leverage individual strengths to maximize effectiveness while leading and contributing meaningfully within their communities. The seminar emphasizes reflective practice, ethical decision-making, and preparing students for success in honors coursework and future endeavors.
