CHM 112 Introductory Chemistry
Intended for students whose majors require CHM 121 and whose math placements match the prerequisites for this course. An introduction to basic chemical principles including atomic theory, ionic and covalent bonding, gas laws, solutions, acid/base chemistry, oxidation and reduction, and equilibrium. A special emphasis will be given to problem- solving strategies using dimensional analysis. (4 credit hours)
