THT 213 Fundamentals of Theatrical Design

Introduces students to the fundamentals of the design process in theatre. It emphasizes the aesthetic choices designers make in order to serve the script and maintain artistic unity. Consideration will also be given to providing practical solutions to design and budget challenges, as well as the methods and materials used by theatrical designers for communicating design choices.
