PSY 211 Child Development

This course focuses on the development of the child, perinatally to pre-adolescence. Physical, cognitive, social, and emotional domains are related to various stages of development. Key environmental contexts, including child poverty, trauma, and adversity, are examined. Community engagement is a key component of this course. (3 credit hours)
