HIS 132 Modern American History: 1865-Present

A survey of post-Civil War Reconstruction, the Gilded Age, immigration and urbanization, the Progressive era, the World Wars, the 1920s, the Great Depression. Also includes, Cold War policy, post-WWII culture, social movements of the 1960s, crises of the 1970s, the age of Reagan, the post-Cold War order, the internet age, 9/11 and war in Iraq, and political culture in the twenty-first century.
