GRK 110 Biblical (Koine) Greek I
Biblical (Koine) Greek I is an introductory course in the language. Students will learn the basic grammatical elements and linguistic principles of the language (morphology, semantics, and syntax) and acquire a working vocabulary. The class will engage in frequent discussions of the Hellenistic world, the social and religious context in which the New Testament texts were produced, and introduce the skills necessary for exegetical work with the Greek New Testament and the Septuagint.
