ENG 181 Women's and Multicultural Literature

Through a survey of women's and multicultural literature in the United States, this course introduces the basic tools of literary interpretation with a focus on gender and power structures. The reading list presents a variety of genres and a diversity of voices. This course fulfills core requirements in both Literary Studies and U. S. Pluralism (3 credit hours).
