CRJ 226 Investigative Forensics
This course examines the practical applications of forensic science. It will provide an overview of the ideologies, procedures, and concepts of forensics. The goal is to understand the importance of forensic evidence to criminal investigations. Topics include the definition of forensic science, prevalence and significance of different types of evidence, abilities and limitations of modern crime labs, and the court history (and debate) pertaining to certain areas within forensic science.
